As a surf addict myself I enjoy following some of the best talent on the world stage for inspiration. I am forever indebted to Julian Wilson for introducing me to quite possibly the coolest kid on earth. Watch #KidPresident when you’re feeling down and thank me later.

Football has been a huge part of my life and is something I follow profusely. Manchester City FC may be the enemy, but captain Vincent Kompany’s tweet was one of few things keeping my respect for the sport alive.
Amidst many reports of racism between players and supporters, and the still growing amount of expenditure with dollar that doesn’t even exist, we can only hope for more #Progress
Referee has now taken action against racism in Hol! That was needed in the name of football. Next step is for fans to take action. #Progress

Team Crowd have been exploring heavily the use of social media within the political sphere in Guernsey. The States Government are currently “in limbo”, and so reading President Obama’s tweet was a breath of fresh air and pin point evaluation of the whole ‘big idea’ behind the digital revolution. Here’s to the future!
“This is not just a debate about policy. It’s about people.” —President Obama #immigrationreform

It’s been a busy couple of months and no doubt many of you will know exactly where I’m coming from; starting the new year and picking up everything we had left behind to celebrate the christmas season. American hip hop king pin Russel Simmons seems to be the man to follow if you need a good old pick-me-up! Get yo’ hustle on…
Be encouraged. Stay on your hustle. You can’t fail until you quit.

I think it’s fair to say that politicians get unfairly laboured with the stereotype of boring jobs worths. It was good to see Kelly Clarkson tweeting that even the President of America and his wife know how to party. Get the beers in Barack!
Just partied at the White House ….I kid you not, Michelle Obama stood up and got the party started ….seriously cool First Lady
