Today Digital Jersey announced Project Link, a new feature on their website that’s;
“a digital bulletin board where Digital Jersey’s Tech, Partner and Community members can post advertisements for volunteer roles and paid projects, as well as volunteer their own skills for upcoming projects”
“[Project Link] has been designed as a direct response to the needs of members, by putting a structured and automated process in place to help deal with their enquiries and business needs.”
In small communities like the Channel Islands, the need for tools like Project Link is visible. Guernsey has a thriving startup culture and teams of talented individuals (developers, designers etc.) – but creating a centralised, digital platform like Project Link could be hugely beneficial. We love the fact that Project Link is available to all (not just Digital Jersey members), and we hope that a similar, community-led platform could be a part of the Guernsey Digital Greenhouse – perhaps as a collaboration with Jersey too?
